Tech Migration Lead for Wealth Management

Are you ready to take on a driving role in a very ambitious transformation journey in the financial sector?

At Nykredit, we’re reimagining how we deliver value through technology, and we are looking for an experienced Tech Migration Lead to help drive our data and cloud transformation. If you thrive in complex environments, love orchestrating change, and have a passion for data migration and cloud-native solutions — this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

About the Nykredit’s Wealth Management Platform Program
In the spring 2024, Nykredit launched the Wealth Management Platform Program — a strategic initiative to build a scalable, future-proof platform that supports our long-term growth ambitions. In close collaboration with SimCorp, we are implementing a brand-new SaaS-based installation of SimCorp Dimension, while simultaneously migrating our surrounding IT landscape to cloud. We are working closely together across Nykredit Wealth Management and Wealth Technology to shape the digital backbone of our future.

Your future role
As Tech Migration Lead, you will be responsible for driving the technology migration track within our Wealth Platform Program. You will coordinate with Business Owners, Product Owners, development teams, and external partners like SimCorp to ensure a smooth transition of our bespoke IT landscape. Your focus will be on the surrounding tech landscape, not the core SimCorp implementation. Your goal will be to ensure that our tech landscape is migrated smoothly, aligned with our business implementations, so that we can go live according to our program plans.

You will plan and execute migration activities, manage risks, and report on progress. Acting as a key link between technical teams and program leadership, you will ensure alignment, transparency and shared direction across the program. Your tasks will include:

  • End-to-end delivery of tech migration.
  • Help develop and execute the migration strategy.
  • Stakeholder Coordination – Act as the central point of contact between business, projects, test management, and SimCorp. Ensure alignment between the business and technical teams.
  • Compliance and Governance – Ensure migration aligns with internal and external requirements (e.g. audit, business continuity, etc.).
  • Understand and own interdependencies between different streams.
  • Overall ownership of the cutover plan and sign-offs by e.g. Business Owners, Development Leads and Product Owners.
  • Responsible for identifying, raising and resolving resourcing gaps.

Your profile
You have a strong track record as project manager centered in a complex business domain directing the technical migration initiatives. You thrive in the space between business and IT — translating strategic goals into actionable plans and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.

You bring clarity and momentum to complex projects by organizing resources, managing timelines, and keeping a steady focus on quality and delivery. You’re comfortable navigating technical discussions without needing to master every detail, and you know how to leverage the expertise of specialists around you.

With a proactive and persistent mindset, you ask the right questions, challenge assumptions when needed, and keep the bigger picture in view. Your ability to build trust and drive collaboration makes you a key player in delivering successful change.

Your experience

  • A relevant higher education degree.
  • Several years of experience as a project manager, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Proven track record with transformation initiatives.
  • Strong skills in creating structure, following up on progress, and knowing when to escalate.
  • High drive and an energetic attitude that motivates those around you.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to make things happen.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Insight into technology as an enabler for business.
  • Financial knowledge within Wealth Management and/or SimCorp Dimension.
