Sparinvest seeks legal advisor

We are looking for an analytical and committed Legal Advisor for our Legal & Corporate Secretariat department in Luxembourg. Sparinvest S.A. is a Super Management Company in Luxembourg with a branch in Denmark. Sparinvest S.A. has Luxembourg and Danish UCITS and AIF under management.

As a Legal Advisor, you are responsible for catering for a broad range of corporate, legal, and regulatory services to the organization. You will be offered an exciting and diversified role within a flexible, self-managing environment/workplace.

Your main tasks

• Drafting, reviewing and filing of legal documents of the Luxembourg companies and funds.
• Reviewing contracts and assisting in negotiations.
• Advising internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters (such as AIFMD, UCITS, MiFID, SFDR etc.) in the investment funds area.
• Advising Senior Management and Board of Directors on corporate governance practices.
• Filings with regulatory authorities regarding the Super Management Company or its funds under management.
• Collaborate with local and cross-border colleagues in a project-oriented environment.

About you

• A university degree (Master of Laws) and more than two years of experience from another Management Company or supervised entity and/or law firm.
• Good knowledge of corporate and investment funds law.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• French, German, Luxembourgish or a Scandinavian language (e.g. Danish) is an advantage.
• Analytical skills and structured way of working.
• A solution-oriented mindset, rigorous and strong attention to details.
• Passion to deliver high quality work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrate appropriate international acumen.
• Ability to work independently and as a real team player with a positive attitude.
