Solution Architect for Back Office Technology in the Nykredit group

At the Nykredit group, we are experiencing strong progress and are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to help drive transformational journey into cloud using modern tools and technologies. In the spring of 2024, we launched our Wealth Management platform program, where together with SimCorp we are implementing a completely new installation of SimCorp Dimension (as SaaS) and migrating our on-premises data platform. We envision our future in Azure, built on serverless and event-driven solutions.

Solution Architect – Driving Scalable and Modern Solutions

As our Solution Architect, you will play a key role in shaping scalable, reliable, and modern solutions that support our Back Office and Fund Accounting product teams.

You will work with two dedicated product teams delivering solutions for Back Office Operations, Accounting, and Valuations. Our core portfolio management system is SimCorp Dimension, so many tasks involve managing data flows and integrations around this system. You’ll accelerate progress by providing architectural guidance, best practices, and governance.

Your Role
In this role, you will:

• define and manage application and technology architecture across our product teams,
• design integration patterns and architectural building blocks for modern, cloud-based solutions,
• support the transition from legacy systems to future serverless and event-driven architectures,
• collaborate closely with product teams, Product Owner, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions,
• take part as an active participant in internal Communities of Practice and architecture forums with peer architects across the Nykredit group,
• act as a digital change ambassador, operationalising our IT strategy, target architecture, and guiding principles.

What We’re Looking For
You are a visionary architect, who understands that every design choice shapes the future of business operations. You bring both technical expertise and a strong sense of teamwork. Specifically, you:

• Have 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, ideally in the financial sector.
• Thrive on integration design (RESTful APIs, event-driven patterns, third-party systems etc.).
• Enjoy mentoring and guiding colleagues, fostering collaboration and growth.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and love bringing fresh ideas to the table.
• Have a structured approach to architecture, development, and documentation.
• Communicate clearly and inspire confidence among both technical and business stakeholders.

Your Background:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven track record as a Solution/Enterprise/Technology Architect delivering complex applications.
• Solid understanding of application architecture principles, design patterns, and integration techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure) and modern development practices.
• Financial knowledge within Wealth Management and/or SimCorp Dimension is a plus.

Organization and workplace
The position is based in our new headquarter in Nordhavn in Copenhagen. In the Nykredit group, we prefer to work together in the office. You may work from home one day a week.
